One longish trip from Hilton Beach Marina to Blind River Marina and then one very short trip on into the islands of the North Channel.
On the advice of Fred, a gold looper and frequent North Channel cruiser we met in Sault Ste Marie, we picked Long Point Cove as our first anchorage.
When you choose one anchorage, it means you don’t choose any number of other ones, so it was really great to see that this anchorage lived up to Fred’s top anchorages list.
It feels very remote, but I have between two and three bars on my cell phone, so win-win. I can post some pictures.
